Lovecraft Arts & Sciences is a store in the Providence Arcade that serves as both a visitor center for H.P. Lovecraft fans and an emporium of related books, art, and curiosities. For a cozy space, we carry a wide range of titles: weird, horror, and science fiction; and nonfiction including New England folklore, history, the supernatural, science, astronomy, and archaeology. In addition to original art, we sell prints, posters, and T-shirts designed by Lovecraft-inspired artists. We also carry maps and brochures of Lovecraft’s Providence for visitors wanting to take self-guided walking tours.

The shop is the headquarters of the Lovecraft Arts & Sciences Council, a nonprofit educational organization that hosts the biennial Lovecraft convention, NecronomiCon Providence, and brings year-round related programming to the public. Proceeds from sales support our ongoing mission to anchor the global fame of H.P. Lovecraft in his hometown of Providence. For more information email the shop at [email protected].
