VOLUNTEER HELP FOR NECRONOMICON

SUMMONING MINIONS – our small army of dedicated volunteers!

 

The prodigious undertaking of preparing for and running NecronomiCon Providence would not be possible without the help and support of our wonderful volunteers, or as we lovingly call them: MINIONS.

Are you interested in joining their ranks? Volunteers who are able to work at least two events or half day shifts during the convention enjoy free general weekend passes, along with t-shirts and other goodies (sorry, we can’t offer help with travel, etc). We’re particularly interested in local folks, those familiar with the area, or previous attendees and minions, but all willing and eager volunteers will be considered.

There are lots of things you can do to help this leviathan rise! Because of the multitude of events and activities that we are offering our con-goers, there many ways that volunteers can contribute, even for those that are physically disabled. We do our best to give minions the option to choose exactly what events and time slots they want to help with.

Minions local to the Providence area should try to attend a convention volunteer planning and coordination meeting prior to the convention. Are you traveling to the convention, but still want to volunteer? We absolutely welcome minions who are making their pilgrimage from afar – video and phone conferences will also be coordinated, as well as email instructions and updates.
